Harima Science Garden City Opening Festival
About "Harima multi-media school"
1) Intention
Harima Science Garden City was starting the use of SPring-8 (Super photon ring-8 Gev; Large radiation system facility) and opening of the core facility of the city in 1997.
Since the main facilities of the first section would be finished, completing a major part of the urban construction, the Harima Science Garden City Opening Festival would be held as a means of further promoting city development from August to October.
As the part of the Opening Festival, "Harima multi-media school" was held for establishment of the network between Commerce, Government, School and Public for leading information networking and teaching it to next generation with the experience of using latest communication networking technology, like B-ISDN and Internet
