Even during warm seasons, Chikusa Highlands ski resort is a lovely place relax in,with a lot sun. Radon water makes coffee taste very good.

Para-gliding and a marathon event are the attraction in summer. There are various ski runs, including "Marchen Course", "Chrystal Queen Course","Dynamic Course" and "Panorama Course". Autumn leaves are really beautiful around the ski slopes, too. Try a cup of coffee with our radon water, and enjoy our ski courses.

Skiing is fun. But winter in Chikusa is tough because of the heavy snow.

There are only 10 students in the 4th grade at Chikusa-Kita Elementary School. During winter, all of the students go to the Chikusa Kogen(Highlands) ski resort in our ski class every week. We wanted to know more about the Chikusa Highlands, and we wanted more and more people to know about and come to Chikusa. So we founded this "Kita-sho Detective Agency" and investigated the place.

Our life in winter is difficult with the thick snow. But I believe its part of the fascination of ski resort.

We 4th grade students of Chikusa-Kita Elementary School(Kita-sho for short) formed a research group, and named it "Kita-sho Detective Agency".
During our Social Studies' class, this group conducted a field research of our Chikusa Town's famous ski resort and its facilities. We studied its history, promotional efforts, the numbers of ski lifts and rental skis, sales amount so fourth through observation and interviews.
In our report, we included a painted picture of the ski slopes, statistical charts and models of the buildings.
We have already been familiar with this place, because in winter, Kita-sho students go skiing on this Chikusa Highlands with the teachers. But as we "investigated" this ski resort, we came across various amazing discoveries.
