In June, all students at Nakayasu
Elementary School
planted rice seedlings.
Our legs kept getting stuck in the
muddy rice field,
but we could still plant them in
line somehow.
With the help of a sickle,
we managed to cut the rice with
its golden tilted head.
It is said that spirit of Buddha
lives in the rice.
We tried to harvest the rice as
hard as we could.
