After the collecting data and materials in Hase

In early September, all children wrote what they felt at their activities in the hometown for "Harima local history by Kids". Reading their descriptions, I really feel that this project has been a precious opportunity for them to recognize how wonderful their hometown Hase is by watching and reporting it actually by themselves.

I liked the log-cabin of Hase police substation. The bike of Mr.Okada, the policeman, is new and very nice.

Sticking my feet into cool clear water of Inumigawa River, I hoped the river would stay beautiful with many fireflies for ever.

I was surprised to see many people swimming on Aug. 27th, such a late summer day, at "Yuseki" in Ichikawa River.

I didn't notice there were the facilities of the sewerge system in each area in Hase.
When I went to the Sankakuiwa (the triangular rock) after a long interval, its clear water made me feel like to swim. I thought it was a nice place with a harmony of the green mountains around and the clear stream of Ichikawa River.

Though it was very noisy with the sounds of dynamos inside of the Hase Dam, I could have fun and understood well the kind explanations of the staffs.

I'm learning the shishimai dance now in school. Instructors are very kind so I'm looking forward to the days I can learn.
Despite unstaffed, Hase Station is I believe, more amusing one than other stations. Benefited by nature, we can catch stag beetles and cicadas even at the station.

I'm glad to meet the staffs digging the hot springs who answered our questions friendly and joined in our pictures.

I had been taking charge of breeding animals for 2 years. I hope the rabbits will always be in our school.

The mistress of the tofu (bean curd) shop seemed to be work hard from early morning, but she said she was happy to see the satisfied costomers.

I was astonished to see and study Inuzuka (the dog mound) and know that many people lived here in Hase more than a thousand years ago.
